I Am is greater than i am!

A great man once said, “there ain’t nothing wrong with a little bump and grind”……

The day I heard this, was when 2 of my best friend and I were meeting for t-group(fellowship with God). It’s one of the best times I having during the week. Meeting together hearing, listening, and examining God’s word, in the context of our lives, it is great.

But I am not posting this just to say T-groups are great, because it is not about the title of being in a T-group which matters.  It is the 2 people who are in my life, correcting, rebuking, training, and teaching me according to God’s word. I know these guys are going to be there for me when ever they can. God is molding them and shaping them into men of God and that is why they will continue to be there, not because they are great but because their God is great! I thank God these guys, who are becoming men, will be breaking the chains of stereotypes for men who disappoint their wife and children with broken promises.  And I pray and hope these guys continue to please God, not because of works, but because of their Faith in God.

Praise, The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit! Just saying  

So many times I catch myself hoping for what’s to come. I can’t wait until I finish college, I can’t wait until I live on my own, I can’t wait til I get a wife, I can’t wait til I have a family. But…

So little times do I actually appericate and understand the resposibilty those blessings carry.  I am not going to one day magically be a man of God.  It takes TIME to build those characteristics.  And God has to mold me into that man.

So if TIME it takes, I guess I have to take my time, and wait patiently for these blessings!

Hello tumblr people!

My name is Chris, I like to think of myself as a funny guy,but I think it is more that people like to laugh at me instead of my jokes.  Well here is a funny story.  One day I was riding my bike to school, actually it was yesterday, and it was about 6:35 a.m. with the sun still down.  I kept peddling as fast as I could afraid that I would not make my 7 a.m. class, and I come up to a car that what I thought was going to stop but it turned out she did not see me.  In slow motion I ran into her car. Now that I think back about the incident, it seems like it would be a great insurance commercial. Are you driving and a kid on a bike runs into? Did you not stop when you were suppose to? Are you in good hands?(in a deep voice). But back to my story, I get back on the back and I look at the lady and she slow rolls down her window.  I hear her voice, ?Esta Bien?, I say, “I’m good”. And with a determined look on my face I keep riding!

But all jokes, funny comments, funny faces, and past memories of me doing or say something stupid aside, I would say the most important story in my life is not the one you read above, or any other funny story, but it is the actual story of the Creator introduce Himself to me, a mere sinner, failer, and for the most parts I was a loser. 

So I just thought as my first post I would allow you guys a real picture of who I am and a glance of what God is doing in my life.
